Qualitative research, communication and social design

There are as many worlds as ways of seeing.

Every social group sees the world in its own way. Understanding those ways of seeing is where we start.

Every social group builds its own world out of the meanings it shares: we call that culture.

Understanding those ways of seeing means getting close and working with people, not on them. What we learn returns to the people who live it.

The world changes when we listen.

Anthropology, communication and technology, together.

To understand people, we don't stop at what they say: we get close to what they do and, deeper still, to what they know, feel and dream.

What sets us apart is how we reach knowledge: we work it in three layers, from what is said to what is dreamed.

  1. What they say

It lives on the surface, in words. We listen for it through in-depth interviews and focus groups.

  2. What they do

It lives in practices, in what the body knows. We observe it in its real setting through participant observation and shadowing.

  3. What they know, feel and dream

It lives deep down, where the answers that really matter are. We explore it through generative and co-design workshops.

We build bridges between different worlds so they understand each other and decide together.

With our own technology, Ethnoap, powered by AI, we process far more information and find patterns that escape the naked eye. The final word is always ours.

Social knowledge that helps you decide.

Research, communication and participation: three lines we combine to turn listening into decisions that make sense for those who live them.

Our knowledge is born from what people live and tell us: what they know, feel and dream. Three lines of work, on their own or combined:

Social research

Focus groups, open interviews, participant observation; surveying and social listening. We apply it to social perception and acceptance of projects, consumer studies, social intervention, heritage, and the design and evaluation of public plans and policies, among others.

Social communication

Narrative strategy, audiovisual production, branding and web design. We apply it to campaigns, project identity and sharing results.

Participatory processes

Designing and running participatory dynamics, engagement strategies, co-design workshops. We apply them to projects that call for public decisions, where the collective matters more than the individual.

We work with people

The world changes when we listen.
